有物業 but I don't think it's that 辛苦.
but the first place that I owned, I did pay less than 20% down payment wor.
btw, I never really compare home ownership with HK and here.
I think if I really PUSH it to get a single dwelling house, then I would be very 辛苦. Not so with apartment. So... I am sure to own a house in HK can be hard.

for me, it's personal reason. I have pets and it SO HARD to rent any new/decent place with my pets. (cats only!)
So I got frustrated and bought my own place.

It's hard to make $2000 after tax and save $1500 a month!!
rent? or pay to family if you live with your family.
how about eating out for lunch and dinner few times a month?
car and gas and insurance?
@@ I am so bad I can never save $1500 a month...

$100 for parents and you live there and eat there? no way la...
When I was a fresh grad, I used to give more than half of my after tax income to my parents monthly.
I also have a car too... so expenses goes up from there...
then birthday and xmas gifts to families and friends? buy new clothes sometimes? Cos this saving plan is long term.. like 6 years... right?
How about RRSP and life insurance?

Looked at the MC square (love the name, E!) floor plans for 2 bedrooms. I actually like the L shape one and the biggest 2 bedrooms'. The others has a room door so close to the entrance of the unit. I think I mind that more than a L shape walk way.

H is good.
I just don't like the 2 bedroom (not 2.5) ones with the room door right at the entrance.
