[其他飲食] Feenie's will be "closing for a 3 month renovation"

I have read from a few sources that:
"David Sidoo has just given his staff at Feenie’s notice. The restaurant will be closing on March 20th for a 3 month renovation."
An official press release will be coming up soon.

Superstar New York chef joins Vancouver's Lumiere
Bruce Constantineau, Vancouver Sun
Published: Monday, March 10, 2008
VANCOUVER - Superstar New York chef Daniel Boulud has been recruited to become a business partner and executive chef at Lumiere restaurant in Vancouver.

The celebrated chef will also open a new DB Bistro Moderne restaurant next door in the space now occupied by Feenie's. It will be his first restaurant in Canada.

Boulud, who owns six restaurants in the U.S., will essentially replace Vancouver chef Rob Feenie, who opened Lumiere in 1995 and Feenie's in 2003. Feenie left the restaurants last fall, claiming owners David and Manjy Sidoo breached his employment contract.

Post-Feenie, Lumière lands a New York star
ALEXANDRA GILL From Monday's Globe and Mail March 10, 2008 at 8:50 AM EDT

VANCOUVER — Go big or go home.

That was the choice facing the owners of Lumière and Feenie's after executive chef Rob Feenie walked away from their partnership last fall.

David and Manjy Sidoo decided to go huge.

Instead of closing the restaurants (a seriously considered option), they recruited superstar Daniel Boulud as their new business partner and executive chef at Lumière.

"I think this will be good for Vancouver," said Mr. Sidoo, who will be introducing Mr. Boulud at a press conference on Friday.

That's putting it mildly. Mr. Boulud is the first major celebrity chef to open a restaurant anywhere in Canada. The news has sent shockwaves through the culinary community.

They are still using the name Feenie.  I guess it's a bit unfair

They won't:
"The celebrated chef will also open a new DB Bistro Moderne restaurant next door in the space now occupied by Feenie's. It will be his first restaurant in Canada."
I am pretty sure that the new restaurant will be named something related to "Daniel boloud" - a much bigger name.
