Hi all,

I just bought a puppy from a breeder and will pick him up mid June, my puppy had his 1st shot, and will need the second shot soon after i pick him up, can you guys recommend a good vet to me?  (prefer in richmond first)..
also how about SPCA, what do you guys think of the animal hospital?
This is my 1st time getting a puppy, please help..thanks!

my friend highly recommend her vet which is at the plaza of #1rd & westminster hwy.  she said he is really responsible.

I recommend SPCA Hospital in Vancouver.  My dogs had a few surgery there and both dogs were both taken care of very well with lots of love.   There are a few vets there and some vets worked there for a long time.  Also, they don't charge you outrangeously, like some vets.  I also like the fact that the money they make goes back to the animals.  The shortfall is it could get busy, because there is a lot of dogs.

Don't go to Atlas on Fraser & 41st.  All I have heard is how bad they treat animals there and they made my friend's friend dog to go blind without proper treatment.  The vet there also had his family members who don't have training to do or help me with surgery.

went to his clinic 3 times, and I still couldn't tell how good he was
but there is one vet that I would highly recommend since she knows about raw diet and would avoid using medicine(chemical) whenever possible, just that she is in North Van
