I like the name groupon. it's self explanatory "group coupon". Easy to use and target for local small business. I think fitness, entertainment and food are some regular spending that consumers do. Don't see anything wrong with it.

btw twitter is a cool concept. It's diff from FB and it's one of the first microblogs. FB has too many features and is very different from twitter's "small and frequent".

oh!! now I understand:
Kijiji offers similar services and is seen as a competitor to Craigslist with the biggest differences being that Kijiji gets much less U.S. traffic[3] and has an extensive pets section.

For local classifieds, I usually search on Craigslist

I think kijiji is more popular in the East coast. I google to find a few things to sell/buy/price properly and most of those found from kijiji site are in the East coast.

Reason for me to get things from Cragslist is when I want a in person transaction. Things like used camera gear, furniture, cars...etc you want to see it in person anyway. So cragslist works well for me that way.

其實,多幾多個優惠網對消費者來說是無害處的,越多越好,越平越好

Exactly! They can all co-exist! Then we get more deals.
For me, I am bit "upset" cos OP didn't know any basic background before she started this discussion. (no info just bold statement)
And she didn't notice nor wanted to know the geographic difference. Most users here are from Metro Vancouver or at least the west coast. Not that we don't want to hear voices from the east but she needs to understand her majority audience.
Anyway, good to see so many responses and sorry I don't think this discussion will bring kijiji more business. (at least personally I won't)
