It's like marriage.
I won't marry whoever a gal first, and then see if I will love her after married. But I will make sure I love the gal, and then marry her.
If I know I don't "love" HK (or whichever a place), I won't go there and try if I would love it later on. I don't have much time to waste like that.

There are a lot of factors that effect one's decision of where to stay, love or not love a place might be the most important to you, but not to everyone else.

If you want Vancouver style living, better move to Shanghai or Beijing, as they are not as crowded as Hong Kong. Plenty of nice highways, if you like to drive around the country. They have nice golf c ...

This is nonsense. Vancouver has Vancouver living/life style, Shanghai has Shanghai living/life style.... etc. If to say Vancouver also has a Shanghai-like living/life style or Shanghai has a Vancouver living/life style, why not just simply stay in that place?!
