So you mean you hate Christians less now?

Haha.... I never "hate" all Christians. Honestly, most "general" Christians give a very bad impression to me. I "hate" some particular ones after I knew them well. There are also a few (very few) good examples I know. I point at fact, not the title.

You can call my example is hypothetical, yet isn't this kind of issue happening in our daily lives realistically? In my POV, gambling is not appreciated by the Christianity God, to "call a prostitute" is also not be appreciated. However, to play MJ (just treat it as a game, no money/gambling is involved) in church or anywhere else is not a problem (God won't be unappreciated), and helping that prostitute in my example is also not a problem, even God would be appreciated.

(Edited: This is not my personal concept, it's not difficult to see this "teaching" in the bible.)

OK you claimed you read the Bible for 9 years so I assumed (I should've asked) you are a believer until now you explicitly say that you're not.  That makes more sense why you believe in some things and not others because for a believer he should not be believing in some things and at the same time not others.  Anyway, it clear now.  So I should not evaluate your comments from the POV of a Christian.  So your study was with a Catholic church?

About your friend, although he's trying his best to teach you about the Bible, at the same time have you found out the accuracy of his teaching (no disrepect), I mean do they come from the Bible or just his mind?  It's really the first time I hear that swearing is OK for a Christian.

SB, there are many things in the world that people can't think like that straight-forwardly. Some people read the bible just want to know more, doesn't mean  they already believe in; some Christians read Buddhism books just want to know more about others in order to protect and have a stronger mind to believe in their own religious, doesn't mean those Christians betray their God or want to change to believe in Buddhism.

This is also my very time to hear from a Catholic saying gambling is OK, plus use that money to donate to the church is also OK.
My understanding, gambling in any way is not appreciated by the Christianity God (including Catholics). But as I mentioned earlier before, depends on how you swear, swearing could not be a big problem. Swearing to people is not OK (or not appreciated), while swearing to a wall (for example) just to vent out one's anger, not actually hurting anyone, then it is OK (this "OK" doesn't mean God will be appreciated, yet God will understand your anger, since God didn't say we can't have anger feeling at all, just not to angry with something/someone for too long. Yet what is the standard of "too long" is also debatable.).

Ultraman:  "If playing MJ is kind of an entertainment, why it is not allowed to play inside any church? Doesn't it conflicting?"

A similar situation appears in 1Cor 8 of the Bible, where Paul address ...

Thanks to give the exact quote from the bible. And this is what I keep pointing out, it's the concept behind rather than just to look at things from their outside. No matter you're doing obviously good or bad things, there is still a chance for other people to misunderstand you. It's your (a general "your") responsibility to explain to others. Playing MJ in church could be healthy or could give bad impression, helping a prostitute is the same. I only see most believers just try very hard to "avoid confusions" in an unwise and blinded way. However, doing which things would give bad impression and which not? Gambling? Playing MJ? Playing poker? Karaoke? Buying expensive branded names (such as LV, Benz..)? Being selfish? Being greedy? Not lending money to needed friends? And much much more... . Because every single believer could have different definition and standard and understanding, it is giving a negative impression to all others already.

Why there is always conflicts and agreement between believers and non-believers? After all, it's about respect between them. To believe in one religion or not is all up to personal preference, it's as simple as you like chicken but I like fish. At a meal, you can have your favorite chicken and I order my fish, what's the problem?! If you keep pushing me like: "Yeah, eat chicken la, chicken is so good and yummy ar... blah blah", what would I feel? I believe this is the most pissing off non-believers part.

The MJ case should be dismissed.  Reasons are provided already.

Regarding other things like brand name/expensive things.  That's merely a personal preference.  If you can afford, why can't you buy hi ...

It's clearly written in the bible, people (believers) shouldn't do anything that may "let brothers fall". For example, yeah buying LV and Benz is affordable for richer believers, how if this kind of action may let poorer bothers fall? How to "know" and "predict" in advance? That's debatable.

How can people know about God? First, the bible was not written by God Himself. Second, even so, people can think there was a God claimed Himself the true and only God and wrote a book about Himself, doesn't mean He is really the true and only God in the world, there might be other gods who didn't come out to claim and write about themselves.
OK, let's eliminate other possibilities. The bible was written by many people (we can say believers), that means those people were the media for other people to know about God. So it is very sense making why other people (non-believers) focus on believers (since they can't "see" and "know" about the real God by themselves), in order to know about this God. Now many believers' excuse is, people can't and shouldn't judge God thru human believers, including their action, attitude, thinking... etc, then how could people know about God if can't tell by His believers? Isn't it not quite sense making and convincing?

It's not as simple as you like chicken and I like beef.  It's about my beef is better than your chicken and vice versa...

To think/comment either chicken or beef is better than the other is totally subjective. There is no absolute answer. Even you (a general you) think what was written in the bible and the God is how true and real, I (a general I) can think the other way. Some people can believe in something without solid proof but just go by their feeling, some people prefer to see solid proof and in a more scientific way before believing in something. Can't really say who is right and who is wrong. To the chicken guy, not eating chicken but beef is kind of stupid; but on the other side, the beef guy is thinking the same.

Not to challenge you or what, just to state out any possibility.
Many believers (including you) assume (or believe ) God (this particular God) is not a lier from the beginning and is telling the truth that He can't and won't lie and so all He said is the truth. However, who knows whether He is actually a big lier or not in the first place? How to prove that in a more scientific and more convincing way for non-believers? You (believers) believe and so you believe all that. To non-believers, how can they believe such thing like that, how if that Jesus just wanted to cheat the people at that time and the whole world? This is one of the biggest questions in many non-believers' mind.
