Selling/Buying sex is considered immoral in the first place (because of traditional values, or culture belief...etc...)
Selling/Buying dog is not immoral wor...just how the seller (or breeder in this case) treat the dog could be a problem...

Well, depends on which perspective of "moral" we look at.
In a prostitution trade, "customers" "buy" sex in return to pay cash, the "sellers" receive cash and give out the "products". Both parties are willing to do the trade and agree on the deal. It's fair trade, nobody is being "hurt". However, as you said, it's the custom and culture that make people think/feel it's immoral.
Let me ask, in dogs trade, is puppy mill "moral" or "immoral"? Should sellers treat the dogs as a money-gaining-tool (a non-living form) or a living animal? Should buyers treat the dogs as "toy" (a non-living form) or a "pet" (not necessary to be a family member but at least a living animal)? |
