He will probably be invited to be the the vice-premier of the country, not the vice-chairman of the CCP. China does recognize the KMT as a Chinese party. Mainland China has proposed the one-country two-system for Taiwan. So he does not need to be a member of the CCP to be the vice-premier of the country. |
