We are taking about sending from Hong Kong and Canada to overseas, not locally. One of the reasons here is expensive is that the postal workers extort money from the public by threatening to go on strike, therefore their salary are inflated. So that is the reason why the cost of mailing is so high here.

Lik, please be more polite here. Both China and the US are big countries, but their mailing costs are much lower than in Canada.
