Besides, Japan has defensive agreements with the US. China needs to find a way to keep the US from messing with Diaoyu islands.
If China uses force, the US is going to use an excuse to claim their "China threat theory".

BTW, China has not tested missiles near Taiwan for many years.

Diaoyu Island has always been under Taiwan province of the imperial dynasty of China.
Therefore, Taiwan province under ROC, needs to take them back from the Japadogs.

Historically, Taiwan province itself is part of imperial China, so of course Diaoyu islands are parts of China.

The tricky thing is that the US is always messing with others affairs, like Diaoyu Islands, and South China Sea etc. China can easily deal with Vietnam and Philippines if the US stays out of the discussion.
