wow, what a moron you are who likes to pick on China? This is why they need to perform these tests. The tests are to find out problems before the official opening.

wow, Lik, you are just amazing. More amazing than the cauldron thing that failed to go up during the Vancouver 2010 opening ceremonies.

Looks like the Shanghai Expo is a stunning success, just look at the large number of people wanting to visit.

If there were no problems to begin with, do you really think I could find any faults even if I want ...
Lik 發表於 2010-4-20 16:38

hahaha, if you really want to pick on any country, you can easily do so. Which country does not have problems? With all your wisdom you can do it. Somehow you are self-hating and like to pick on your own kind.

You moron, this is why in Shanghai they need to perform these tests. The tests are to find out problems before the official opening.
Of course you dared not bash the Vancouver 2010 cauldron that failed to go up during the opening ceremonies. What a coward you are?

When the issue at hand is not a "problem", then it is just unreasonable bashing.
We all know pointing out a problem is okay.
But it is clear that people like Lik, are taking things out of context. This is clearly a self-hating behavior and is bashing.

You moron, everybody had to queue up at the Shanghai Expo. The test was supposed to find out any problems that need to be fixed before the official opening. Therefore, they arranged a large number of people to test the place. What they need to fix is some of the ticketing machines. A lot of people waited for so long, but that was because they only opened a small number of pavilions for testing.

When I visited mainland China, everybody was so orderly and queued up at the airport, train stations, subway stations, at various tourist spots, at Mcdonalds etc.

In fact, I think mainland China is more orderly than Canada. It is an achievement, especially they have a very large population. There are more population in Shanghai and the surrounding areas than in the whole of Canada.
The Vancouver 2010 cauldron is an embarrassment, that Lik just refused to admit. How can an advanced modern country like Canada, screw up a simple thing as the cauldron? Clearly, testing was not done properly beforehand.
The crowds at Shanghai Expo during testing was already way larger than any events that the Vancouver 2010 Olympics had to handle.

hahaha, they said estimated will have 70 million visitors over 6 months of the Expo. How do you get the millions of people per day?
The problem is mainly with the ticketing machine, other than that everything is fine.
This Expo is so well organized, just like the Beijing Olympics.

China has always been good with crowd control, way better than India. China knows it has a large population, so they are good at crowd control at large events, like at the Beijing Olympics.
After reading more about this incident, I think it is a non-issue afterall. The ticketing system was overloaded and some people became disgruntled after waiting for long time.

From Appledaily, you can expect some China bashing. Appledaily kept on saying there was disorder, but their own video showed people had to queue up orderly.
You can see everyone had to queue up for security checks before they could enter the Expo. Everyone had to queue up for the subway.
Just some people became disgruntled because of long wait times.
