And  the fact that the police neither  really complain or protest over the case until
CY  stepped in and rekindle the fire.
In short, HK is way worse than when I left for good in 1979. The HK government
has been  harmonized by the CCP bureaucracy. Tell me a few samples that the SAR
out-perform the colonial government;  ask an average HK citizen, not the Mainlanders,
compare Tung, Donald and CY with Chris Pattern,  who would they choose as leader.
That is plain simple.  The Brits  outlawed the triads and corruption, while the CY harbour
corruption and the HK police outsource  to  triads.

I just don't see large numbers of previous Hong Kongers immigrants returning to Vancouver. In fact, most of my friends who returned to HK are still in HK. Some of them are working in mainland China.

According to the Canadian government, there are at least 250,000 to 300,000 Canadians in Hong Kong.

You are correct, I am amongst the many ones who escaped from China-HongKong before things got rotten there as everyone witnesses today.

No one cares about where the galaxy you are from.  What I said was that with the passion you have over what's happening in mainland we would be more than pleased to see you go/return there and be a proud subject of such great strong nation and call it your motherland.   

AND, you may choose to deny as you usually do,  I think many LYKs would agree your way of posting one-sided favorable comments towards your motherland  almost EVERYDAY is a form of propagandizing.  You reminded me of the current CEO of the fragrant harbour who denied himself a member of CCP. I think that is what the proverbial birds of a feathers may somehow refer to.

I am just interested in development of the culture, scientific and economics of the ethnic group, which has nothing to do with the politics of the CCP. Please stop your extreme childish and illogical way of linking every person who supports the ethnic group with the CCP.

There is nothing wrong about supporting the Chinese ethnic group, the same way you support your British group. Let's not forget it was the British that created such a large economic and real estate bubble in Hong Kong in the few years before the 1997 handover. The bubble  bursted during the Asian financial crisis and that caused an economic mess in Hong Kong.

You have such a passion of bashing China/Hong Kong/anything Chinese for that matter. If you are just a British subject, just forget about China and Hong Kong. If you keep on focusing on China, it mean you still love your motherland.
