There is nothing wrong with those usages at all. It is their language, not yours.

Many of those usages are used by Chinese people in China, Taiwan and South East Asia etc.

If you are a Hong Kong Canadian, then you are at the same time 中華人民共和國人, 華人, 加拿大人 and 香港人, since your ethnicity is Chinese and HK is part of PRC.

Are you a Chinese language linguist who decide how the Chinese language should be used in China/Taiwan?

How the Chinese people in China/Taiwan use their language is really none of your business. In addition, you cannot even give the reasons for your objections to those type of usages. You just say, oh I hate those usages, without any reasons whatsoever.
