Google cannot even prove who hacked the gmail. They give people the impression it is the government. Some US experts later said maybe it was some students from university/college. We don't have further news regarding this. This is why some people said it is a conspiracy of the US government, which is itself spying on other people.

Baidu and the Chinese IT industry are the big winners here as they kicked out google, a foreign internet bully.

Google is a foreign internet bully which wanted to dominate the world search from now on. But at least in china and south Korea they just cannot because of better local competition. This is good news for China, Korea and the world, as the world still has other choices rather than just US monopoly.

The Chinese can certainly use Yahoo search or Microsoft search. These foreign search engines are still there.
But then the idea that Chinese have to use an American search engine is ridiclous. You don't see the Americans using a foreign search engine.
The biggest loser is the arrogant google. The biggest winner is Baidiu and the Chinese IT industries which can take even more market share than before. Also, more investment in Chinese IT sector will only mean a more robust Chinese software industry.
