no la, 兩蚊店 is different from Daiso, there is one inside International Village close to SUCCESS. The product is slightly better than Daiso.

They are the same.. they also sell Daiso stuff...(under the same boss)..they want to expand Daiso to Toronto...but it didn't work out...if no Daiso..aberdeen is a failure.. Daiso Japan used to give them North America franchaise...but now Daiso Japan give up..and open the USA market theirselves... Fairchild spends more than 5 years to operate this tiny Daiso..but cannot open a new store for Daiso in Canada...they have so many problems there...all they can do is Yokoyaya... and Menji...Menji is just a trial store for them to import cheap stuff from china..

Comeon, what's wrong with Meiji selling products from China? Even at Daiso, some products are from China.

If you do not know anything.. please keep quiet and read.. and start using ur brain to think deeply.. dun be so navie by just looking from the outside.. Do you actually know why they want to open Food Planet, Menji, Yokoyaya, etc? I am not a fairchild worker.. but i know that most of the stores at aberdeen is owned by Fairchild coz they dun want the mall look empty.. with no attractions.. u think the stores that they open got a lot of sales.. they earn the most from Daiso.. (but not all sales revenue go to them directly.. some of the money need to go back to Daiso Japan).. what if Daiso Japan wants to take back the franchaise.. and open the stores by themselves in Canada.. (just like the USA..where they opened around 9 stores (in West Coast) within these 3 yrs.. on the other side..Daiso Canada is still the only store in Canada (with the great management from Fairchild)

Obviously, the main purpose for Daiso Japan is to expand their stores into the rest of the world...and the main purpose for Fairchild is to maintain their Aberdeen Center..

I don't understand why u need to be so mad about this? ? Calm down..

i was trying to list out all my thinkings.. and i am not writing an essay here..just a quick post. (sorry that I am not that organize) .i wrote "i am not working at faichild". means that these are all my assumptions.. and if my writing confuse you .. sorry.. but i was not submitting an essay here..

different ppl have different pt of view.. and for me.. i think fairchild did not do a good job.. Daiso do have other branches outside Japan and North America..(so i assume they are trying to expand to the rest of the world) I heard that they even have one in Dubai..

back to the pt abt attacking peter..please look back to his previous posts..he simply loves to argue..no matter what the topic is..and no matter if he really knows abt it.. this is his first impression to me..

Sorry if i misunderstood what you said.. everyone knows that many stores in Aberdeen were opened by Fairchild themselves.. I am not saying that this is a news.. but i was trying to say that Fairchild is not a sucessful business operator as per the news posted on#1. You misunderstood what I said too.

Great Speech!! I totally understand your feelings here!! How Fairchild underpay and torture those fresh grad!! I used to work at Daiso when I was at school.. and I know how great their management is..they always think of saving $$..when they do inventory check.. they used to hire those professional company to do the stock count.. but now they want to save $$, they asked their stockers (including students + C9) to work at night..(after the store closed) and work till morning by providing 工半.. and the result is horrible.. the # were not matched.. and need to redo it again.. of coz.. those stockers are not trained for stock counting... and the boss force them to redo it all over again..and need them to sign the sheet to show who count that shelf..and how long he/she takes to count that shelf.. *working like in a jail*? and for this re-do.. they didn't pay 工半 this time.. coz they think it is those stockers mistake.. ..and some of those stockers cannot reject it..coz they still want to work at Daiso.. coz they need the $$ for living..
