if you get those once awhile 40% from Michael's then it's a good deal.
If you like to buy yarn, you could consider getting at Yahoo Centre second floor.  They are chinese owned.  However there' a bit more expensive than others.
But, I wouldn't suggest you learn the knitting lessons there.
