if you want to be success volunteers~ you can go to those courses and get to know the instructors, and maybe they can help placing you at SUCCESS as a volunteer, if not~ you'd get to know more people anyways...

I went to Corner Stone's Career Exploration class because I didn't know what kinda career path I wanted to chose (although i sitll don't know, but it still helped me get to know myself and my ability better)

These programs are government sponsored, so depends on your eligiblity, it can be free or charge !
good luck ~ and if you want anything else, like make your resume look pretty~ or other tips PM me

i changed just 3 times after i graduated from post-secondary, at times it was pretty frustrating, but just remember that, before they give you that interview, you're just a piece of paper or a computer file to them. so don't take it personally

just to attend class and learn how to get a job~ through what method can u get a job
of course the basic resume skills
and helping you get to know yourself better
like what do you like more what should you focus on~
basically it's almost like career prep in high school but....now that you're an adult it'll mean more to you and help you more than it did in high school
least that's how i felt

as us twese would say
秀秀~ it's okay~

realistically speaking ~ you're 30? you have only high school educaiton?
Toppy's suggestion was probably the best I've seen in this thread...
you do need education..(never thought i'd suggest this to anyone... since i hate school)
it might not teach you much of anything that's useful on the job... but without that people won't even bother with hiring you..
of course if you don't mind min wage job like waiting on table, fast food places, then that's another thing
but if you want to have somewhat of a career then you need to go back to school
even if it's just to go to VCC or something to get vocational trainings and get certificates~
those will all help
realistically speaking..... you're only a high school grad... or even if you had some university.... u probably spend 6 or 7 years of the last decade of your life doing.... i don't know what you did....
but anyways~ something to think about... and if you want help with resume~ my pm box is still empty XD
if you're serious about getting a job~ i'm willing to help
but if you're just here to get attention.. then i'm sorry for my bs
