Simple math. Go to Vegas take a flight with Hotel (3 stars) can be less than $300 for 2 nights. Takes about 3-4 hours including waiting time.
Going to Victoria, 3 hours from Vancouver DT to Victoria DT. Ferry fare with 1 person: 47(car) + 14 = 61 + HST + 2.5% fuel charge = ~ 70. round grip: 140. and then with hotel 2 night + 200 (cheapest 1 star). $340.
it is no difference to go to a boring Victoria than more exciting Vegas. so, what will I pick? |
