In that riding (South Vancouver?), while over 50% of the residents are Chinese Canadians, a sizable portion are Indo-Canadians as well, and a heck of a LOT of them are backing Kash Heed (who is also Indo-Canadian). The area has traditionally been a Liberal stronghold as well, with AG Wally Opal (also an Indo-Canadian) being their MLA. The Liberals are quite confident of Kash Heed winning in that riding as well, and considers him to be a star candidate because of his background. Given all the factors that are at play, I honestly don't see how Gabriel Yu stands a chance against Kash Heed law.
