4. Panfried rice rolls(Chong Fun)

7. Dan Dan Noodles
8. Grilled Chicken steak
9. Foccacia Pizza
10. Roasted  vegetables
11. Omelettes
12. Frittata
Most items takes under 15 minutes to make,  enough for a small family of 4,
healthy and inexpensive

There are 2 ways to cook congee quick
1. The way they do in hospital, by 100 gallons pot, boil 14 minutes, blend with immersable blender
2. Soak 200 gm of rice, keep in freezer. Bring 3 litres of water to boil, add rice and boil 14 minutes.
    Freezing will create ice crystals in rice and turns into cavities, so congee cook real fast and thick
    I mix 70% Australian rice for velvety texture and 30% Jasmine rice for fragrant, so 3 litres of
    plain congee done in under 15 minutes

I use fresh Shanghai noodles, cooked in chicken broth.
Cook shallot, ginger and pork with  Szechuan hot bean sauce, Seasame paste
for 10 minutes, spoon over noodles, scatter chopped peanuts and scallions on top, done

I tend to do things in systematic way
1. Soak 1 kg of rice for 2 hours
2. Drain rice, divide into 5 portions, wrap in plastic and freeze
3. Whenever you feel like cooking congee, bring 3 Litre  of water to boil,
    add frozen rice, bring back to boil, turn heat to medium, cook 14 minutes
If you like to add some Fu Jok and gingko nuts, then it would take longer.
