90+ of the HK medias  share the same POV,the CPP in Beijing is 是不折不扣的政治鬧劇,cheap propanganda and direct insult to Confucius,
even the recipient despises the award.
Well, maybe they should have nominated you instead,

Don't forget only2- 3 months ago,
Premier Wen proclaimed that Chinese should be given freedom of expression,
I  say Liu is innocent.The CCP disrespect their own constitution and does not deserve respect.
Why don't they amend the constitution and scrap all the basic human right?
then they can do whatever they want.
I have to point out  that I did not paraphrase what the Western medias say, I refer to the
reaction of average HK citizens and  commentators. I wonder if you read any credentialed
HK newspapers and news medias at all

I respect your opinion, just curious,
how come  whenever there is any controversial issue arises in China, there are always a group of people
jump out and pointing fingers to the Western for conspiracy?
China has been a closed country for 61 years, it is not easy for the westerner to infiltrate.
Again, after 3 generations they still cannot manage to "educate" their people against rotten Western  culture?
clearly they are  not doing their job.
The corruption of the CCP bureaucrats, is it again the Western's propaganda?
According to the Wikileak, most of the high officials have multiple Swiss bank accounts, what does this explain?
that the officials do not trust their own party/government//country,
they betray their own people, and they leech out the wealth of the country.
Who  should be convicted for treason instead?
So I rather  echo Liu's hopeless quest for a just system, although I know that I won't be able to witness it.

    I respect you for your wealth of education, I just do not understand why    you always think negative when it comes to  political reform?

    It take a big heart and insight to make change, what would China be if
    Deng did not dare to change the system set up by Mao  upside down?
    Why you insist that China will turn into chaos if democracy happens in China?

    KMT was defeated and fled to Taiwan, but it has been  matured and prosper in
    most area, culturally, economically and politically.  Ah-bien's regime was corrupted
    so it was trashed by its people. Only with the strong opposition party's presence
    that a government would work diligently and accountably.
    In China, 6o years without major war after Korean war; some people, especially
    those have relationship with high officials, become super rich. Li Pang's daughter
    control the electric power business in China, how could it happen?
    Democracy is not perfect, and it does has a cost, but it is worth to struggle for.
