I was known as the  mass production Ghost Writer for "Love Letters" when I was in High School. Penned letters for both genders and made good spending money
just made believe, nothing serious.
P.S. I was repeat winner  at  Hong Kong Youth Literature Award in early 70's

I used to have  over 10,000 books before I moved to Canada,
I loaned 5,000 books to a friends for display, then his hotel caught fire
and all  books got water damage in 84. I haven't been reading Chinese
books much for 30 years. I was member of the Vancouver Cloud Poet Society
back then.

It is true that I never finish high school, F2 in HK to be exact, but I manage to pen articles  for HKU students and won literature awards in HK.
I did not attend formal school in Canada, but I managed to teach in colleges and institutes for 28 years

Credentialed Foodservce Executive 2009, scored 1,450 points vs 200  base points.
I teach Master classes for visiting chef from China @ $48,500 RMB per head.

won 15 medals in International Competitions in 80's.
Everything is archived, they are history.

Yes, I spent most of my income in Hong Kong on books( I made HK$5,000 monthly in
1976). It took me great effort to collect so many valuable books that were out of print.
My collection rivaled  library.
They worth more than anything to me in term of material. Any simply unreplaceable.
Most of my books were history, philosophy, literature, and political science.

I'm Chef instructor, not working chef, I was with La Cote D'Azur, Jacques Sprattes,  Le Millieu, Beach House at Stanley Park, Wedgewood Hotel, Heidelburg,  Mozart, stint at William Tell,
Burnaby Mountain Golf Course.
Michelin is overrated, self-respected chef i.e. Ramon Blanc , Gordon Ramsay  etc have refused to take part in Michelin Star, and it is not available in N. America.
I do not teach Master Class everyday,  I teach HACCP in BC and Calgary, VSB is for amateur, I teach Szechuan, Asian Fusian, Thai, Vietnamese,  Sushi, Pastry Arts, 12-14 courses every semester, mostly in English.

I lived at Choi Hung Estate, HK$90 a month rent.
My uncle Yeung Koon Yat was my neighbour before he opened the Forum in 1972.
BTW, even he orchestrated many state banquet, and became the most famous
Chinese Chef in the world, his restaurant was never rated in Michelin yet, and he never get any culinary training or finish high school. He was in FOH management until 1979 when he invented his unique way to cook abalone that took the world by storm.
Sorry for OT, I started out talking about writing Love letters, that I  had written thousands, mostly for someone I never get to meet; a different way to earn good spending money, the rich classmates just copied and mailed out (I studied at New Method College, my cousin used to teach there before he became prof at HKU).
Hey, we're here to blow water, don't be too serious.
