If they arrested the student leaders by the end of May 1989, and give them
a fair trial, I will not against. But it was "Kill first, question later"

The student leaders fled the country with the help  and support from the civilians
and some CCP members, without them, it would be impossible.
I never say that the students are without fault, but they are young and innocent,
somehow naive and foolish.
As a government, the officials are responsible to educate people, comply the laws, and assess the situations. They failed in all counts, then in order to end the students movement,  they sent in brutal force and massive cover-up. People would say anything in a free country,  but in China ?

They did not find enough evidence to sentence him to death, so he was exiled.
Whoever died or missed in Tienanmen Square, nobody will be able to verify, a

They could not kill everyone after they knew that the incident was polarized,
again,  there are  CCP members other than the hardliners would
support the students or it was impossible that some student leaders could
fled the country.
Killing en-masse is way easier to scare and educate peeople.
I trust the majority of Hong Kong citizens, even  12 years after returned to
China, the CCP could not buy the conscience of majority, only those who benefit
from doing mega business with China and politicians in power.

In short , my soul is not for sale.
There are tons of  evidences and testimonials  but you chose  to  not to believe,
I still have the special issues from major HK papers, circa 1989 days after 6.4  & 1999
a decade to review and re-think.
while the CCP had 20 years and unlimited fund to create evidences and
buy supports, lets compare the outcome.
I'm non-partisan and have no interest from either side.
Any more comments other than personal attack?
