When economy is bad, the living quality of "general public" is bad...
When economy is good (as some proclaimed), the living quality of "general public" gets even worse...
... What's the point of having good economy? Seems like good economy only benefit rich people in HK... Wonder what's the "actual productivity" other than blowing asset bubble?

Have you graduated from high school yet? Or you have returned your knowledge back to your teacher.

In Stats, in a sample size of 1011 citizens out of 7M population, if 58% of the people answer "unsatisfied", it means the survey is having a 99% confident level with +/- 4% error.

To simplify, the result of the survey can 99% conclude that in the range of 54% (58%-4%) to 62% (58%+4%) of the population (7 million people) are unsatisfied with the current condition.

1011/7M = 0.014%...   go back to your primary school la...

Or Our LYK TUTor Lik would be very happy to TUT you...

I'm happy Peter didn't answer 0.014%, marker used to be very happy when seeing these answers, save them plenty of time just by giving a BIG red cross...

Sometime I do envy Peter for his ability to defend his belief...

BTW, you seem to be a lot happier today

Lik likes to 鑽牛角尖 especially on those Chinese related topics...

When he is normal, reading his post is enjoyable...

Somehow, these days he becomes a bit hysteric...

If it is Peter, his photos look good... But it would be better if his comments can be more in depth...

I don't want to explain the maths here, it seems like you are lacking the background for stats (quite time consuming for me , those stuffs should be the next chapter after normal distribution, standard deviation?? Seems like you only know mean, mode and median... ). Whatsoever, there's whole bunch of info on web you can search for random sampling, population size, sample size... they are all simple concepts in stats...

BTW, it's not easy to setup an unbiased and objective survey (esp. for those setup by HKU, they are famous), if you really want to know more you have to study a little harder NOW...

知之為知之, 不知為不知, 是為知也...
