i think there is no should or should not.
you are the photographer, there must be some reasons for you to include the wooden fence.
for me, i like it. it can show more information about the surroundings and make the photo more interesting. i don't find it is distracting, since the proportion is not to big. it does balance out the weight of the house and actually leads your eyes to focus more on the house. without it, it would be a boring picture |
