Can't wait to see that.

I know 2 HK families, giving up everything they have, to move to Vancouver, not a easy thing to do.  My guess is more will make the move, particularly for young families with little kids.  I can somehow understand, as I can see HK will become just another city in China.  Not that is bad for everyone, some people will have money up to their neck if they make the right move and know the right person.  But that's not for everyone.

You can put the blame to HK Gov. as much as you can blame the Mainlanders.

Say, they should have foresee the jump in enrollment in Elementary schools.  But didn't nothing.  Now, parents have to bus very young kid long distance to school.  That is really bs, And no wonder even people who don't care about politics are pissed.  And the drug store owners (Honger nonetheless) jack up the prices on baby formula.  HK is now a mess, and makes everyone looks and acts in a very ugly way.

You have to look at the whole picture and what Honger are fear about to make sense of the whole situation.  You just can't look at it as an individual events.
Say, you have a baby, and you have to jump hoops to find the next can of baby formula?  You will have stream and smoke come out on your head.  (On that issue, I don't blame Mainlanders who just want to have milk that is safe for their babies.  I am just piss off at the situation.)

Even 夢熊 is pissed off now.

In Canada, top 1% of wages earners make $200K.  The 1% are barely able to live West of Cambie Street in Vancouver.

The freedom you enjoy here in Vancouver at least count for something.  If you hate the NDP, you have the Liberals; didn't matter they are look-a-like, at least with your vote, you can vote them out.

Not so much in Hong Kong.
