To breast feed a baby, it's hard work at the beginning, very hard.  So most families get discouraged and give up in the first few days.  In fact, milk doesn't really come out until a week later.  Most new parents themselves are not growing up breast-fed, so they don't know how it works, and no one educates them, and no help from grandparents or peers.

Plus, HK hospitals are busying making money, breasting feeding doesn't bring in any revenue, so how could they care.  In fact, more babies get sick, the potential revenue pool are larger. (Breast fed babies normal don't get sick the first year).

So, Canada Hospitals are famous for being breast feeding Nazi.  Hospital staff make sure new parents feel bad if they didn't breast feed.

    The hospital make me sign a paper, before it gave us formula.  I was actually thinking about going to Superstore to get formula.  I am father of  2 kids, one is 2 months old.

These procedures change very often.  Now, you are not supposed the wrap the baby like we have been doing for ages.  Standard now is the hands must be loose.
