Security tag still on the purchased product, what to do? tag, product, Security, purchased

I bought a hoodie from the Gxp Outlet in the States east coast a while ago, took it out lately wanted to wear it and found out that the security tag is still attached to it!!
Luckily I still have the receipt, so I took it to the Gxp store nearby and asked if they could remove the tag for me. The salesperson said that their tag system here is different. Here they use magnetic system the tag is detached when it got tapped on their device, but the one on my hoodie use pin system so they cannot take the tag out for me. He said that all Gxp in Canada use the magnetic system.

Anyone has similar situation happened before? any idea what I can do for this purchased hoodie with security tag on it? I am not planning to go to the States anytime soon.

Thanks for everyone input, the one attached to my hoodie is a noticeable tag, not just a sticker. I searched online and it is very smiliar to the one shown in this picture, my hoodie is stucked in between the big tag and the pin tag.
