Top achievers always have problems that other people can't understand. That's how the world works - some maybe very good at school work, but at the same time very bad in other things.

I think I understand how that little girl feel. I actually have a cousin like her in real life and I don't understand why being #1 is so important for them.
Often that's the only achievement they can cling on to - to show that their existence is unique and therefore worthy to live on.
