I'd say we wait another 10-20 years. Then all those HKers who moved back to HK will come back.

Probably because HK doesn't have indoor heating so it is cold all the time. Here, we have indoor heating so it helps a lot.

Also, HK is more humid than Vancouver, which makes it 'feel' more cold. Wet cold is worse than dry cold.

It is a given that it is easier to earn lots of money in HK, given the right profession.
