Well..they raised the charges and sometimes they just "estimate" what your charge will be..then they will credit your account back the next billing cycle.

Usually my bill was around $30 a month and once they charged me $200+.....so I paid it and I had $170 credited back to my account and I didn't have to pay for the next 6 months..ha

they always screw up or over-estimate but don't worry, it usually corrects itself AFTER you paid your bill

well mine was $30 when I lived in yaletown..coz our maintenance fee includes hot water and hot water heat...so heat was free

now in richmond I'm paying about $45 a month....still cheap compared to a house because there's not hot water heater

also for those who's heating bill jumped suddenly, you might want to check up on your windows...a lot of windows leak heat, esp. in the winter time. this year we bought film to insulate our windows and our apartment is MUCH warmer, even without turning on the heat.
