Hello hello, how are you?
Happy New Year﹐各位親愛嘅蛋散們係咪好掛住我呢。
闊別一個月﹐大家別來無恙? 我就放左個大假啦﹐先講翻呢個月發生嘅大事。當然唔係講才子同玉女嘅情債﹐我呢D身份點會好似D三姑六婆茶餘飯後去談論人哋嘅私事呀。但係不得不回之前我開個題﹐<潮食勁飲喪吹豪嘆逛大溫>(呢D都唔知咩名﹐邊鬼個改架)﹐我就同一眾友人去左大溫好幾間所為出名D嘅餐廳。我就今日趁新年流流唔想亂講嘢﹐都係講飲飲食食。
先講我去左邊幾間﹐其實好多你哋介紹果D我係無去過。老實講﹐你哋講果D喺Fraser街﹐Richmond果D就真係無去﹐我唔會好虛偽咁話你聽我有塵想去過。需知我係一個西人﹐我唔係好去Richmond﹐山長水又遠唔好食連時間都徙埋。我去左一D之前去過同新嘅餐廳﹐講幾個有talking point架啦。
west - 好耐無去﹐我可以講句keep到水準。老實講﹐以Vancouver fine dining價錢嚟講﹐一D都唔貴。香港D把鬼意大利法國餐廳隨隨便便都7-800蚊一位﹐都未必好食。west我哋亂叫開埋酒都唔洗一舊水一位。可以講係﹐個black truffle wild mushroom risotto係確實OK。其他食物都算係好食。當然好難講係咪超值﹐但係無幾耐食一餐都值得去既。
chambar - 哈﹐嗱﹐呢個世界好怪﹐我去呢間諗住食mussels﹐但係最出色反而係佢個foie同cappacio。點解我話mussels唔係推介呢﹐因為事源食之前去過granville island撞岩天朗氣清上左去Sandbar食個lunch。點知個mussels真係惦﹐毛得傾﹐連汁都勞埋。同埋D mussels係大隻D同爽脆好多﹐一定贏chambar。但係你又唔好爛醒叫個seafood platter(我中左招)﹐sandbar個seafood platter超塭笨。講翻chambar﹐個foie一個指講晒-夠肥。個cappacio略嫌油左D但係個咪夠﹐同埋足料﹐加埋anchovy﹐確實惦。
gastropod - 我唔係話踩佢場﹐不過真係有心去試食完前菜就可以鬆人。本身我都講過我唔係太buy fusion菜﹐但係偏偏就神推鬼使走去食。佢個生蠔OK囉﹐真係簡硬講個叫做好就係隻蠔較個味較得好。送嘅amuse bouche都OK囉﹐之後真係走得。話說D main course嚟到﹐賣相都好好﹐但係一食﹐嘩﹐所有野都鹹既。個menu得5個main course﹐我哋6個人﹐食得晒佢所有嘢啦? 佢有能本事碟碟都越食越鹹﹐好似放左好多多餘嘅海鹽上面咁。最後埋單佢哋都算識做take off兩個entre﹐但係都唔平。臥只可以講﹐D食物嘅combination吸引。Molecular cuisine得意﹐但係絕對唔講得上好食。
bearfoot - whistler嚟講﹐算係最好食。我覺得好食過好多vancouver嘅餐廳添。不過呢間真係略貴﹐連我咁捨得食都有D...不過值既﹐whistler食到咁新鮮嘅食材真係好難得。去whistler度假都預左洗錢架啦﹐豪一次啦。(特點:差唔多咩都好食)
C - 唔係D香港朋友猛話蔡斕都去食過我都真係唔會專登去。真係唔惦。唔惦一﹕名過於實。三五個waiter waitress氹氹轉serve我哋6個蛋散但係D嘢都可以出得出奇哋慢。當然﹐西餐一人一碟又要就翻所有人一齊上﹐食完個頭盤真係半個鐘都未有entre。D嘢食普通過普通。鴨﹐又乾又唔夠肥﹔帶子﹐燶左一邊又過鹹。come on baby,食海鮮嘅餐廳﹐煎幾舊帶子都完全唔惦﹐唔怪得拍烏蠅。呢間無得傾呀﹐blacklist呀。
優異獎: italian kitchen(平民化價錢﹐坐得舒服﹐D嘢味道OK﹐唔會太花巧﹐大碟抵食)﹐kingyo(keep得住水準﹐飲吓sake都OK﹐service好)﹐ibizu?(呢間robson樓上鋪﹐唔係好記得叫咩名但係有D驚喜﹐個sweet potato fries好食﹐個saba inferno好食﹐最緊要係平)。
