How I see local Canadian...

Ski yes, I go once a while as well.

Isn't that what we do as well? Or even in HK... weekend I will go to shopping mall...
And I don't think Chinese mall can compare to Metrotown...

I love cruise too...but can't afford a few trips per year la.

Well... don't see that in my work place...maybe more in government jobs?

I like gardening "once a while"...but definitely "not" maintain it lor...
i.e. once a while I will buy a couple of bedding flower to plant, but then I always forget to water them... >_<

And I don't like watering/mowing lawn...I just paid for someone to mow the lawn...

I do enjoy outdoor activities...hiking is great! Skiing (if I can afford) I want to go more often la.

Talking about good food... I like to go to Vegas la.. cheap flight ticket and ... decent price for food!

People here love coffee but most of the coffee they drink are "water like"... unless you go to starbucks or others...
Unlike Europe... people like coffee and the quality is much better...even in the cafe inside gas station!

well... if you live in a place but not enjoy the lifestyle...is very "sun foo" ...
Btw, I think there are quite a lot of good food in Vancouver ... even Chinese food...is above avg than other NA places (or even some places in HK) la...
And gardening...if you live in apartment or town house...then no garden to work on la...
Or even house...if you don't really like doing any garden work...just pay someone to do it lor...

but since I go back to HK every year now...can't afford other big trips la...(no vacation and no $).. :~~(

I'm still saving up for a trip to East Coast la.. sigh...it was on my list...but it really is "expensive" to go east coast...for a bit extra...why not go to Europe??

It depends la...my coworker (local canadian) has gucci, LV, blueberry, etc. etc....
all the big ones ...not the small one...
there are a few chinese in my work place...but we don't hang around much la... work = work la..doesn't have to hang around after work la...

可能我個人比較容易滿足。
我無諗過要完全融入本地人嘅生活，完全認同佢地嘅價值觀。
反而，我只係想喺呢度搵到自己嘅生活空間。嘗試吓唔同嘅活動。例如hiking，skiing，golfing，呢度相對嚟講比較容易做到。啱玩嘅咪玩多啲囉，唔啱玩嘅咪煲吓碟，得閒開車落吓美國行吓，shopping又好，乜都好啦。有phantom of the opera我又會睇吓。有李雲迪我又會買飛。最緊要都係有份工，有個地方住。人地講hockey我唔算識，不過就算喺香港人哋講soccer我都未必識啦。儲夠錢嘅，咪返香港shopping吓囉。
做人，其實都可以好簡單。睇你點睇嘅嗟。

講開coach，我對啲make in china嘅product，真係唔係咁捨得去俾咁多＄買。唔係話quality一定唔好，只係我認為china啲labour咁平，點解仲要charge得咁貴？所以我coach嘅袋都係＄100左右。
