Well, there is a chance that "everyone" or "most people" here are very rich.  But that chance is kinda small.

On the other hand, there is a good chance they lied because they want to keep up with a ...

First of all, people don't lie w/ their salary just because they want to show you that it's good to live in Canada. $ is not the only factor to determine a good place to live or not. To me, you are just making up reasons to prove your point, but too bad, no one here would agree to your twisted logic.

Why do you think the chance is small that most people here are "rich". It just happens. I won't say all Canadian are rich but it happens that in LYK some people are making decent income.

What's the percentage of people earning more than $55,000 in this survey?

43%.

Haha.

This survey doesn't mean 43% of loyaukee are making 55K annually. The sample size is small that the survey result is not significant. There are total 3578 registered members in LYK, if all LYK vote, and IF 43% making over 55K then I would say nearly half of LYK is making 55K.

If you are poor and have to live in a bad place (like next to a garbage dump or toxic waste dump), what kind of fresh air can you get?  It is not about the country at all.  There are many polluted a ...

We are talking about Canada here, don't try to get us to talk about the whole North American. There are choices for the poor, as I said, but if people choose to live besides the garbage bin, that's THEIR choice. Even on Hastings, you can walk to a Victory Square, to breath the fresh air.

Well, you can have your opinion.  I can have my opinion.  Nothing wrong with that.

The problem here is, when people here disagree with my opinion, they think I am crazy, bad and evil and etc.

W ...

While no one say you are CRAZY (I'm talking about this thread), but what about you accuse some people LIAR in the first place? There is no prove that you are right or wrong. But you are accusing people LIAR base on your opinion. This is not a discussion in the first place.

I see a lot of homeless bums in Vancouver, ok?

They live on the street.  What kind of fresh air do they get when sleeping on granville or robson street?

Of course, they can walk to stanley park o ...

It's still fresh air, compare with sleeping on the street in Causeway Bay. On Robson St we only breath in the car pollutant. In Hong Kong we breath not only car pollutant but industrial toxic waste that blew from the "ju 3 gok" manufactoring plants.

I'm not going to argue with you any more, because we simply have different values that you perhaps just argue for the sake of arguement. If you don't believe we are all breathing nice clean fresh air in Canada, then welcome to go to US or Asia to find a better life. I totally enjoy living here, even I'm making just $20K annually.
Look outside the blue sky ...what a nice day!

I am just trying to say 100k is not a lot of $ jeh. Don't understand why people have to be so awe-strucked about a lot of people claiming that they making 100k in the survey. Given a family of 4, pe ...

Yeah, that's why I do think 100K annual income (before tax) is not A LOT. I think we had similar discussion in another thread. IMO I would say 200K annual income before tax is quite good. That's about 10K net income per month? I think that would be quite good.

My reference to "talking about Canada" is respond from my previous posts. I was mentioning about the clean air here is priceless and some how Mr. T says "North American's poor air quality". Not meaning the whole post is for Canada only.

You said North America's fresh air; I said pollution in bad/poor areas in North America.

I never said North American's poor air quality.

Stop changing/re-arranging things to blame me.

Man you are good at twisting...
You said "...  There are many polluted areas in North American and people live there."
You didn't say pollution in BAD area prior this thread.
Not only your logic has problem, your English obvious has problem too.

Yeah...I'm too laid back too... and don't like to work on the weekends nor too much OT...haha
And of course, I don't like travelling to China (while required by some jobs in HK).
Here if I have business trip, mostly to US or Europe.
