    I disagree. As I mentioned, I"m not talking about same job. Even same job, one can get pay differently in HK than here. Nor I'm comparing quality of life either...we always have better living environment. Clean air-priceless.

I'm just talking about with same take home pay, after basic expenses, one can end up save more in HK, just because clothing, food, and transportation are cheaper (assume one spend same $ on rent). Even with the same take home pay, there is sales tax on top here as well. How can we actually save "more" here? And of course, in HK you always want to save, because medical expense could be huge, if you don't want to rely on public health care. Here we just have no choice but to enjoy the free health care.
