各位老友記 請問乜牌子嘅油襟D？雨年前用過behr ultra (Home Depot)油車房門, 而家已經有D油peel off 咗! Rona, walmart, canadian tire D 油用唔用得過? Benjamin Moore D forum 話正 (last 耐D）不過$隨時係x2？

Thx Quest. Agree with you that prep work is my biggest challenge. First, I sanded with 100 grit sand paper (first with my orbital sander and then sanding block). Next, I filled all the cracks with Minmax high performance wood filler. Then, I sanded again with 220 grit sand paper. However, some of the patched spots still I can feel they are kinda 凸出嚟 (especially those hard to reach area like panels). Should I use a detailed sander to get to those spots? Also for trims, I repeated the above steps. Should I use chemical paint stripper to prep trims for painting? Thx

Thx Quest. 度門係木嘅。let me try with paint remover first because I bought some from Rona the other day. I went to a Benjamin Moore paint shop today and staff there said the 3 lines ranged from $60 (ben) to $80 (aura) per gallon. At Home Depot, the Behr premium ultra (the one I used 2 years ago on my garage doors) is sold at $54 per gallon and Marquee is sold at $62 per gallon. I am kinda reluctant to use Behr ultra again. In one of your previous message, you mentioned Valspar paint. This Valspar brand is only carried by Lowes Canada, right? I think I will probably go check out the Dulux paint store.

Thx quest. Tested the paint with rubbing alcohol and it is latex. There is a paint sales at Sherrin williams. Their Emerald and Duration are on sale for around 50 a gallon. However, some online forums mentioned that Duration has no fungicide in it and because of that, mildew will become a problem! I am not a pro and this is the first time I have heard about this issue. For exterior paint, SW has Emerald, Duration, Superpaint, Resilience, A100, all purpose enamel (for both interior and exterior use purpose??). Any good ones from above?
