[craft] becoming a demonstrator? craft, becoming, demonstrator

Hey girls, recently, I've been thinking joining a company as a demonstrator. Inspired by Claichan! I thought it would be a good thing because I get to share my hobby with a lot of people. However, there are LOTs compaines out there and which one do you like the most?

I have seen close to my heart products in a local craft show.
Stamp design is quite pretty....but also pretty expensive....
But to become a demonstrator need to spend quite some $$$ to start with? To me I am just not willing to spend that much in one time... (although...I know... the bill still adds up)

I just thought of getting that starter kit.... ahha but then another problem is.... that one specific company may not allow you to use other companies' products for demo... so yeah..

over all, I like Close to my heart and StampinUp ......

I think it all depends on the style you like.  I chose StampinUp because I feel that its style is more simple and cheery and bright where Close to my Heart is more soft and fancy type.  Plus, I like wooden block stamp.  I believe Close to my Heart are arylic stamps only (I might be wrong).

OT a bit... Wood stamp has better quality that's for sure...but in terms of application, I prefer clear stamp... since I am really poor in alignment...

hehe... I'm going to buy a tool just for alignment....  (it's one of stampin up tools)
I know, especially if you are masking, u wanna make sure you are stamping the right place.
of course, clear stamps are also cheaper too!

I think I am pretty much going to go with stampin up..... but it's so hard to decide now because CTMH is nice too... dim suen

Take your time, but honestly, consider your style and stick with it at least for a while.
I trying to stop myself from buying products other than SU!, because all my materials and supplies are coordinating.
