Even if this article is true, it should be a very special case.  I still believe that most Chinese parents would give the best to their kids.

I don't know how it's like in the western world though.

I know a lot too
but please remember, don't just target on mainland china, a lots of children being force to be 雛妓 or 苦力 by their parents in many 3rd countries

Not personally, but witness by relatives in China.
Ask your friends and relatives in China and you'll hear more than you
would want to believe.
