so how did it go with the camry? not buying? u have another civic that u would need a WA, still looking for another one? lol
Not gonna get that Camry la, you scared me about the 14-hour clutch job and the gas pedal sensor! The car is still sitting at the dealership and I don't think it's an easy sell. It has slight clunk in the steering (possible rack or tie rods) and the clutch pedal is STIFF! I offered 2k less than their already reduced price + fix the steering problem, but the sales manager didn't agree.
I got the Civic from my family and it's old, 95 with 225k and original clutch . It's been in a couple of accidents (not by me of course) and I think the frame is not straight. It's still a nice beater though (A/C's still working and good gas mileage!), nothing really failed me except for the CV joints that I replaced a few years ago, of course brakes, batt, w/pump, t-belt, tires, etc are basic maintenance. Actually, I don't even know if a WA can fix the problem unless the frame get straighened, but I don't think I'll spend any $ on straighten it cuz it's probably not worth it.
BTW, I've been looking for a good deal on a 07-08 Civic si sedan, not many of those around (and people ask for too much $), maybe a year or so later there will be more in the used market. |
