SB, there are many things in the world that people can't think like that straight-forwardly. Some people read the bible just want to know more, doesn't mean  they already believe in; some Christians read Buddhism books just want to know more about others in order to protect and have a stronger mind to believe in their own religious, doesn't mean those Christians betray their God or want to change to believe in Buddhism.

I totally understood this.  I had that impression not only because Nam claimed that reading the Bible for 9 years.  Nam also said that she (am I right?) went to church.  9 years is not a short time for someone who doesn't believe!  Again, it was a confusion on my part.

Well, utopia, I guess you should say you just go to catholic school for 9 years in the frist place lor, there will be no confusion then...

Brand name catholic school in hk?  I sort of know how it is...華仁?  hk or kowloon?  My relative went to the hk one.

The MJ case should be dismissed.  Reasons are provided already.

Regarding other things like brand name/expensive things.  That's merely a personal preference.  If you can afford, why can't you buy higher quality things?  There are rich people in the Bible too.  Other things you listed are some what similar so not going to comment.

For one thing I want to ask you, when you believe a God you believe "the God", not the believers, or the people who "claim" believe in him right?  People can claim whatever they want without proofing themselves, so does that stop you from believing the true God?  No.  If one day, everyone on earth is against Christian or is "false Christian", bad apples, whatever you want to call them, does it make the beliefs false?  I don't think so.  Will they mis-represent Christianity, maybe, but as long as there is a Bible, anyone can make a correct decision.

On the flip side, shutterbug have become very defensive on this post, to a point that he have not only attacked me, Nam and also attacked a lot of other people just for the sake of defending his believe. I think he owe a lot of people an apology. IMO this is exactly what a mature Christian, or a mature person conducting a conversation shouldn't do... It is what IMO, give Christians such a bad name. They just can't stand people who don't carry their view and can't stand people telling them why they don't carry their view.

you better give good evidence of how I attack you guys rather than simply stating this claim.

TO quickly answer your questions with my limited time...

If driving a MB makes someone failed before God.  Then maybe eating food can make 3rd world believer fail too?  Looking more beautiful than someone else will fail that person too so she should wreck her face?  Come on...you can answer for yourself.

By definition God cannot/doesn't lie.  So if He's the true one then in the Bible says He's the only true God.

Many examples in the Bible says God inspired so and so to write.  This is another huge topic if you want to question the about who really wrote the Bible.  Not going into that here.

Yes, you can say testimonies of believers maybe give some credits but at the end it's the God who you believe.  Also, new believers are "babies" in Christ, they need time to grow too, but at the same time if they have wrong understandings, they should be reminded too.

You can know about God by reading the Bible and praying.  If you have a heart to seek him, you will find.  Plus there are always good Christians in this world (well, so far).
