Okok... maybe her achievements are influencing my judgement, making me biased, but I still think she is relatively pretty... when you compete, especially when you are about to splash into water, you don't wear make-up, do you? and the lighting in a stadium is not for flattering your facial features? (Remember the cohort of studio lighting required to make actors look flattering in a movie.) Based on those, I think she is pretty.
I would rather have a successful wife, then a pretty flower vase. But like I said, the vast majority of women had neither quality. |
