High Offset (50 - 55mm), 17x8, 5x114.3 Wheels?

Since we're on the subject of wheels in this other thread, perhaps we can talk about wheel options for MY crappy sub-$100k car~

As the thread title says, I'm looking for some 17x8, 5x114.3 wheels that has a high offset in the 50 - 55mm range. I won't claim to know my wheels all that well, but on Tire Rack, I think the only wheel that meets my criteria is the Enkei PF01, and I am not a fan of its looks.

So is anyone aware of other options? These HRE, TechArt, Axis, or whatever are probably all out of my price range la, so no need to recommend those~

Bro Lik, I suggest you don't get into odd size wheels as it is very pricy and difficult to find tires for the future.

Many manufacturers OE comes in odd size (BMW, Mazda), and I can tell you how hard it is to find something else that fits.

BTW..> sub $100k is not crappy.

OE 個 tire size 已經係非常之騎呢，而選擇亦唔多。如果可以 upgrade 到去 17x8 嘅話，反為個 selection 仲會好啲。

我哋呢啲窮仔就唔覺 $100k 嘅車係 crappy 嗟，但人哋富貴果啲就架車無 $100k都唔考慮㗎嘛～

你肯跑7仔鈴就仲多跑呔揀啦！17x8既話我會揀D +42至+45mm一類既offset，起碼honda/acura/subaru等等都應該岩裝﹖

ar lik gor should use RX7 rims la..unless you dont' like the appearance of it. it is the most cost effective way to do it.. 16" tires are also cheaper...  Remember Brian and Jim from Okanagan came to VCMC series 2 with NC on the 7jai rims, they have A6 and it was pretty damn quick too

7仔鈴唔係唔好，但係配我套死人 size (205/45/17) 就真係麻叉煩。行細啲 (225/45/16) 會比較好力，但依家過屋企車房個 bump 嘅時候已經好容易刮底，再行細啲嘅話會仲大鑊。而且架車個 6速波箱已經成日唔夠轉數，條直路一長少少我就係咁 bounce...

行大啲 (225/50/16) 我又驚佢副偈會無奶力，個轉數扯上去會扯得太慢...

個人覺得，如果真係夠位可以俾我搞掂個 235/40/17 嘅話，咁條呔就最闊、最好彎，而最好彎亦應該即係會最快。下個月 test fit 吓人哋套 235/40/17 on 17x7.5 ET48嘅時候，希望可以搞掂 clear 到 fender。咁我就可以去班返套 17x8 ET48 嘅 6ULR 來玩。如果真係要玩到轉大個窿嘅話，咁其實都幾麻煩㗎。
