Winter/Snow Tires

I plan to order a set of winter tires for my 07 RDX --- the OEM size is 235/55/R18

shall i get the snow tire in the same measurement or i could down size to a R17 to save some money??

advices please!

225/65-17 is what tirerack recommended.  "Your vehicle is equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system" so make sure your rim supports them.

Not having TPMS sensors is not going to break your car. The TPMS warning light will light up, but it doesn't really affect anything.

Would you please tell me where did you order the tire?
I want to order winter tire only, don't want the rim. Is it a big deal without TPM?
Where did you pick up the tire?
Is Costco more expansive than the other suppliers?

From the US, Tire Rack, Discount Tire Direct are good choices. You can have them shipped to Point Roberts, but that'll add another $5/tire in storage charge (by the depot).

Locally, there are lots of possible options la. Costco, Crappy Tire, Fountain Tire, Kal Tire, etc.
