It's true that my Porsche is not a family car, my previously owned Subaru STi is better. However, when needing the extra room, I use my wife RDX anyway.
Obviously, I have my reason for the baby signs, and why 911.
my commute to work is actually quite fun and good with very little traffic, so I would like to enjoy my daily drive. I was originally planning to get a boxster or cayman when my son get old enough to ride safely at the front. That's when my wife decided to have another kid, so no more cayman or boxster unless I want it as weekend car only.
Well, the leave me little choice but a 911. Believe it or not, Porsche has been making their own carseats for their 911 for many years. There are 3 sizes going up from infant seat to booster.
As for the baby signs, it probably looks cool to some husband out there with kids who wish they are on a sport car instead of a corolla, but for those who are single and with no kids, it probably harder to understand.
Here in Seattle, I can still drive relative fast daily. U know people go at least 70mph on the hwy. For me, my comes from the twisty roads and the ramps. Back to the signs. It is there to avoid stupid tailgaters and road racing teenagers. It's my responsibility as a parent to have the baby sign on my car while continue to enjoy my driving.
Driving fast may be fun, I enjoy the handling of a car much more driving within or slightly over the speed limit in the corner or on twisty a lot more. I know I will be doing some DE and will enjoy the high speed ther, and AutoX will be fun as well. I will see if I can get some video footage.. Again hope everyone enjoy the pictures here. |
