well... it's also a sign for those tailgater to keep some distance with your car.
Cos if they hit your car, they will be hurting the driver and a baby/kid!!!

I have no problem to see people posting photos of their 1st or 10th nice cars. But if I were the buyer/driver, one of my possible reasons to buy/drive a Porsche: to enjoy its speed.
And one of the manners when I drive a kid in my car: slower than usual.

Honestly. People who buy a Porsche doesn't enjoy it's speed on public roads per-say. Let's put it that way, I definately get passed by more Civics than Porsches. Porsche on the public road = a mean of transportation, just like any other car. Things to transport aside from full grown adults might include carrying a B, a set of ski's, IKEA book shelves, etc. The same Porsche can be taken to your closest beloved AutoX event, road race track or drag race track, to maximize your lap time/corner exit speed/quarter-mile as desired.

I don't see how it's so hard to imagine. You want 2 cars at home, 1 SUV, 1 Sporty car. You want both to be ready to carry a B whenever necassary. Not that tough to get over?

Now plz get back to the car and the photos. I still haven't found out what license plate mount Chobit used on his 911, and whether he got his ass frozen yet by trying to open the top in these weathers

"Slow" does not equal to "bad." I think it's totally reasonable for parents to drive slower with kids in the car. If I see a such sign on a car, I think it's telling me, "There's an infant on board. Please be careful and I will do the same."

Notice how most child on board signs are triangular/diamond shaped and in bright yellow color? They are meant to be visible to other drivers. They are eyecatchy for tailgaters and other drivers, especially in the rain. Everyone has a natural instinct to keep children safe. It's more of a self-check/reminder for the driver with the baby him/herself as well as the cars around them to watch their speed and driving style.

And with a convertible, you do want your neighbour drivers to know that there's a baby in car. A 10-second, elongated honk from an angry neighbour driver = EXTRA loud for a convertible driver/passengers (imagine the baby's reaction to the noise). And if the car beside you turned on its windsheid wipers to clean its dirty windows... then the baby in the convertible will probably get splashed.
