When it comes to high performance cars, you can't avoid the tire costs la. First of all, their sizes and dimensions almost automatically mean they're gonna be more expensive. Secondly, you want to get the most out of your high performance car ar mah, so it makes sense to get some sticky summer rubber. The best ones certainly don't come cheap ga.

Davidcooper: I already addressed what Lik said, older RR Porsche do need to drop down the engine for most the work, but not newer one, same as Older Ferrari/Lambo.  By the way, don't STEP on people with miata, no matter you drive Porsche, Lambo or Bentley, Miata is a damn good car.

Your original challenge (albeit a stupid one) to me was that a high $20k - $30k Boxster wasn't available in Vancouver at all, and my two postings have clearly dispelled your ignorance. If you still want to come back and talk crap about Craigslist, go right ahead. In this day and age, Craigslist is an extremely popular and effective form of classified ads. To discredit it the way you did only further shows how ignorant you are.

Tires in the States are certainly much, much, MUCH cheaper than what we have here in Canada. Heck, a (Canadian) tire retailer once said that for many tires, their invoice prices are already HIGHER than the US retail price. Fortunately for many of us that live close to the border, we can still enjoy the benefits of cheap US tires by buying there.
