大家好，　我是新黎這個ＦＯＲＵＭ的。。
請問有人知道在大溫地區那裡可以找到提供海外婚紗攝影的服務嗎??
我想到歐洲拍婚紗照, 我知道香港有公司提供這類服務..但不想從香港出發, 因為我和老公一起來回香港的機票也要幾千....再加上香港的海外婚紗攝影也很貴...
所以要是在這邊出發便可省回最少幾千....

How about hiring photographers in Europe? I saw my friend's picture taken in England (not sure which part... may be Edinburgh) and his engagment and wedding pictures were amazing!! But I don't know how much the photographer charged. (could be expensive too cos pound and euro aren't cheap)

As for hiring photographers from here to travel to europe, I think most will be able to do it if you paid for their accomodation and flight and expenses on top of their regular rate. It depends on their schedule too.

I think you can try to contact local Asian style wedding studio and see if they can accommodate oversea trip. Of course...I don't think price is cheap.

There are a couple of studio provide prewedding package (with album and gown on the picture day):

You can still join the photo tour organized by a HK photographer. You don't have to really fly to HK to meet them, you just have to be there in Europe to join them. I personally like the work from DM wedding the most. The quote I got was around 23K HKD.

再找人印ＡＬＢＵＭ　﹠　ＰＯＳＴＥＲ ..not necessarily expensive, depends on what kind of album you are looking for. The coffee book style from Photo Publisher with coupons sometimes are quite a bargain. Of course if you wanna have those "crystal" taiwanese album, you have to sent it back to HK to do it.

The 2nd option is to search photographers in Europe. There would NOT be any makeup/EG/WG included but they are locals, they know where to take you and probably would be able to take some better shots.

btw... reason that would be hard to take "wedding pictures" in europe with their local photographers is that .... they don't usually take "wedding pictures" unless they are having the wedding on the day.
They do enagement photos in casual wears.
So it's probably easier to find Asian photo studios to provide you with the service.

fibbi, I actually checked with HN about renting the dress for 1 week about 1-2 years ago.  I can't remember the exact number but it's something around CAN$400-600 for a week.   That's why I give up this idea.  Their packages for local photos are expensive enough, so if I have to pay for the flight and accommodation for the photographer & makeup, I can't imagine how much they would quote me.  

tsumorichisato, I thought about your suggestion too.  I also got a price from my drexm wexxing from HK.  The package price itself is ok but they say that I have to carry the dress and suit by myself.  That means my fiancee and I have to be in HK to choose the dresses & suit and do the fitting before we go.  This way, we have to be in HK too.

I am happy to be in Vancouver most of the time but when it comes to this kind of situation where I have very limited choices, I feel very frustrated.  It's like Ｏ甘又唔得，個樣又唔得。
(But I have to confess that I am a 麻煩人..always want to get the best of both sides)

   the idea of taking wedding pictures in Europe itself is already expensive...
what's your budget?

Just another idea...fly to HK, and go to 深圳 to take pre wedding picture...they have some theme park with European architecture...i think that would be more affordable than searching locally...

That's what I would do. I will join the photo tour from HK and meet them in Europe.

You do your dress shopping here, Nordstrom/Bluefly/Nieman Marcus/David's Bridal have a lot of goregous off the rack evening/wedding dress alike that kind of dresses and it's very easy to get them online. The ticket you pay to HK obviously will be more than the cost you paid for those attire. Plus you may have a chance to wear them again on your wedding day. I understand some people are not comfortable with online shopping but that's what I did for all my EG's on my wedding day, I don't find the experience problematic at all.  It's just you need to know what will look good on yourself.

For makeup, most of the time , the photographer will be paring up a MUA on the trip, so you no need to worry about this.

I wouldn't pay the amount to HN flying all the way to Europe cuz you can get someone way better for the same price in HK.

The reason I am saying this is because I am actually doing something similar to this now.
However, I'm doing my own makeup and hair and I have my own dresses.
But I wanna emphasize I am NOT doing those" 10 hour and 5 outfits" kind of photoshoot. I only joined a 3hour package and I am going to do 2 outfits (simple Evening Gown) only. For hair, I have my own hair piece so I don't really need a complicated updo but still will be nice enough in the picture.
But I am not joining the tour, I picked a local photographer who does a lot of engagement pictures. I like his photojournalism style....

To me, the attire only makes up at most 25% of a good picture, a good photographer knows how to capture your beauty without even in a fancy dress and makeup.

I've been through Taiwan engagement photoshoot, photojournalistic wedding day photoshoot. Now for my anniversary, I am opting for something that's fun and casual.
