First of all I do not come to argue for the sake of argueing. I come to express my opinion, not to challenge anyone. I like discuss, not debate.
I don't think people like to overthrown the communist govt. I mean, who else can be the govt at this point? But we like to see ways for it to improve. Yes, the chinese govt has been successful in improving the living standard of many people, in recent 30 years. It sure is a major accomplishment. But like every city/country with rapid growth, there are problems. Corruption is one. But with no clear and unfair jurisdiction, it's hard to improve, hard to move forward. Govt should hear the voice from its people, whether doing bad, or good, that's the way to improve. Instead, the chinese govt doesn't allow people to voice out opinion, just to create the "harmony" picture. Those who dare to voice out, have trouble. In this way, problem remains problem...never solved...just got hidden. I think that's what people try to fight for, be able to voice out the opinion. That's the first step. |
