Like said, it's the narrow-mindedness that has killed the future of these people.  I'm not necessary saying that we're better people than them, but obviously we have a better view of the situation and have bigger tolerance to move to different locations and start over when needed.  That makes us, a little different.   For that, I now feel very grateful for my parent's decision to immigrate.

香港人去到加拿大美國做生意大大個招牌＂強記燒蠟＂，＂現代影音租帶公司＂，一隻英文字都唔用，唔覺得有問題。但係香港間agnes b cafe用簡體字就俾人負評，攞晒啲橫額去抗議遷就強國人。咁點解啲人唔去日本餐廳，法國餐廳去鬧人哋啲menu唔寫中文？

我覺得講唔通。

hk people open business with only chinese name on their logo, the only affect is, the local people dont know what those shops are for and they may feel a bit about how come those chinese men are not respecting enough to use English.
but in hk...........

Everyone know that the China gov and some of those chinese citizen are trying to FORCE every person in China use the same language and writing. That is a RAPE, an attempt to elimination, of other people culture

the shops/stores/restaurants in other countries who do business with chinese or any other foreign people, they will use the tourists' languages in their menu or whatever in their business. Yet, they will still keep their own languages.

also, not only business, hk gov was trying to use simplified chinese as well. people hate it

You can put the blame to HK Gov. as much as you can blame the Mainlanders.

Say, they should have foresee the jump in enrollment in Elementary schools.  But didn't nothing.  Now, parents have to bus very young kid long distance to school.  That is really bs, And no wonder even people who don't care about politics are pissed.  And the drug store owners (Honger nonetheless) jack up the prices on baby formula.  HK is now a mess, and makes everyone looks and acts in a very ugly way.

    你第一句我唔係好睇得明。

但係一件事還一件事，開門口做生意同政府官方語言係兩回事。如果啲街牌唔用繁體字用簡體字你可以去投訴，呢個我接受。但係agnes b如果今日成間舗唔用中文唔用英文而只係用法文（因爲係法國品牌），我諗冇香港人會大鑼大鼓去投訴，仲可能覺得佢好有特色添。
