daimo, can you recommend any good cd?  I like pop, opera, jazz, guitar, violin, vocal, etc

what's your top 10 cd?

jazz, classical, pop (only 80s), top 10? will take a while before I can come up with the list.

For SACDs, in general, the re-issued/master of the 60s, 70s, 80s classical are all GREAT.  Mercury living presences, RCAs etc.
e.g.

paid a cabinet (kitchen) company to do that.  the volume?  you determine that based on the woofer you select.  and of course the LEAP company also provided some recommendation.

Thanks.  You had probably spent lots of time and fortune to build the speaker. But there should be tons of fun.

I have an ATC driver, which I originaly planned to make a center speaker out of it, sitting there for years collecting dust. This is a realtively small project comparing with yours.  I have no crossover to consider. But, man, still, it takes a lot of time to do it especailly the carpentry work is a killer just to think of it. I guess I will let it collecting dust for a few years more.

ATC drivers are $$$$.

it needs a lot of beef to drive though.  just the woofers?

I've found companies in the states selling the cabinets .. the only trouble is that they won't drill the holes if the driver isn't purchased from them.

I intended to build me a center speaker. The ATC is a mid-range driver. Not that much of a bass woofer.  I brought it off Ebay, I don't remember the exact figure,  it was about the same as other name brand drivers I did research on.

I was planning to build it with OSB board and overlay with piano black lacquar look fomica just like the NHTs.

It was because  I am lacking the skills & tools and my son is taking me so much time,  I postpone the project indefinitely.    Do you still remember  the name of he enclosure companies ?

You got just a single midrange?  the 3" one?
